At the Home of Record Project, we stand at the forefront of a profound mission – to honor and empower our nation’s veterans with safe and stable housing.
Founded in 2023, the Home of Record Project is the result of collaboration of everyday veterans who understand what it’s like to be in crisis. Our journey began with a simple yet powerful idea – to fill the gaps where state and federal resources fall short and provide housing and aid to service members experiencing homelessness or those on the verge of homelessness. Over time, our vision expanded, and today, we are committed to offering comprehensive housing assistance and financial stability grants that address the unique challenges and goals of each veteran.
The Home of Record Project aims to make an impact in Arizona by offering comprehensive housing assistance, financial stability grants and social support services. The HRP has a unique experience working with hundreds of veterans and an understanding of what is needed most in our community.
Our mission is to provide comprehensive housing assistance, financial stability grants, and social support services to veterans in need. We aim to fill the gaps where state and federal resources fall short, helping veterans regain stability, improve their overall well-being, and reintegrate into society as valued and empowered individuals.
Arizona’s escalating eviction and foreclosure rates, driven by a shortage of affordable housing, low wages, and rising rents, and the large number of homeless veterans in Maricopa County underscore the urgent need for intervention, as highlighted in the 2022 Homelessness in Arizona Annual Report.
In the sweltering heat of Phoenix, Arizona, reliable air conditioning isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity. The Home of Record Project is proud to launch Project Cool Relief, dedicated to providing funds to veterans for the preventative maintenance, repair, or replacement of their air conditioning units. Through this initiative, we aim to support those who have served our country by ensuring they stay cool and comfortable in their homes.
“Funded in part by the Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services as made available through the Arizona Veterans’ Donation Fund.”
The Home of Record Project is more than a name; it’s a promise. A promise to honor the past, support the present, and envision a thriving future for our veterans. Join us as we embark on this mission, ensuring that every veteran has the opportunity to build the future they deserve. Welcome to a community that cares, supports, and empowers – welcome to the Home of Record Project.
