Who We Are
Our Story
Founded in 2023, the Home of Record Project is the result of collaboration of everyday veterans who understand what it’s like to be in crisis. Our journey began with a simple yet powerful idea – to ensure no veteran who honorably served their country was left without a roof over their head and a place to call home. Over time, our vision expanded, and today, we are committed to ending veterans homelessness by offering comprehensive housing assistance and eviction prevention that address the unique challenges and goals of each veteran.
Making an Impact
The Home of Record Project believes homelessness can be solved by implementing two key concepts. Prevention and our transitional housing program the Veterans Pathway Program. The HRP has a unique experience working with hundreds of veterans and an understanding of what is needed most in our community.
Veterans Pathway Program (VPP)
The VPP is a 6-month transitional housing program that provides veterans with tailored case management that addressed the underlying causes of their crisis. It has an 87% success rate for veterans obtaining long-term stable housing.
How We Help
Eviction Prevention
Eviction prevention often involves financial aid through rental, mortgage, or utilities assistance. This aid keeps veterans in their home and prevents eviction and crisis from occurring at all.

Our mission is to provide comprehensive housing assistance, financial stability grants, and social support services to veterans in need. We aim to fill the gaps where state and federal resources fall short, helping veterans regain stability, improve their overall well-being, and reintegrate into society as valued and empowered individuals.
Veterans in Crisis
Arizona’s escalating eviction and foreclosure rates, driven by a shortage of affordable housing, low wages, and rising rents, and the large number of homeless veterans in Maricopa County underscore the urgent need for intervention, as highlighted in the 2024 Homelessness in Arizona Annual Report.
